About Shambhavi
I am a graduate in French Literature with a diploma in Teaching French as a Foreign Language (DUFLE).
I started learning the language in 2013 and eventually ended up teaching in the same language school from 2016 to 2018.
In 2018, I got the opportunity to move to France for 7 months in order to teach English to French students. Being selected for such a program was an amazing learning experience as it helped me improve my French as well as my teaching skills. It also allowed me to travel around Europe while experiencing different cultures and meeting new people which is something I love to do.

Having the experience of working in a traditional setting like that of a school and also in a language institute where the approach is a tad less conventional has made me understand how to adapt my teaching style according to my students varied needs and expectations.
My methodology reflects the positives that I have gathered from the above. My classes can be tailored according to your needs but I will try incorporating reading comprehension, oral comprehension, speaking and writing as much as possible in my lessons along with the grammar.
I also prefer teaching French in French with minimal use of English but no need to worry (especially for the debutants) as we will go according to your pace and comfort level.
Lastly, to make the learning process a bit more interesting and fun, there would activities, roleplay and visual aids like pictures and videos used to learn everything in context.
