About Dana
I trained as a doula a couple of years ago under the tutelage of Alina Bishop, who is now one of my mentor midwives guiding my colleagues and me on our journey to becoming midwives. For me, supporting and safeguarding the maternity process has many layers, from the most personal and emotional to the political and spiritual. I believe it's a path that must be informed, chosen, supported, sustained, shared, protected, and deeply respected. I consider it an honor to be able to share these spaces!
I am open to walking this path with english speaking moms as well!

As a doula, I offer various forms of support, sharing information and techniques to prepare you for the different phases of pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum. I teach childbirth preparation classes for you and your partner or a companion of your choice, where we cover pain management techniques, physical and emotional preparation, using a rebozo (waist wrap), nutrition, hormones, breastfeeding, and address any questions that may arise. I also offer closer, more personalized support throughout the entire pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum process if you wish. You decide when to start, and if we connect, I'm happy to be there for you. Whether you want to have a home birth or a hospital birth, my goal is for mother and baby to have the central and leading role in this very special moment. For this to happen, it's essential that you feel safe and supported by the people you choose to have around you.
