I’m a university graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science and Political Science, offering English tutoring for students from kindergarten through grade 12. In my career, I’ve worked in big law, financial technology, and technology strategy - fields that demand excellent writing, critical thinking, and communication. Typical Lesson Plan:
Check-in (5-10 minutes): I start by discussing what the student is currently working on and review any challenges they’ve encountered since our last session.
Concept Introduction (15-20 minutes): Depending on the focus of the lesson (e.g., reading comprehension, grammar, writing), I will introduce or review the concept and model how to apply it.
Guided Practice (15-20 minutes): I’ll have the student try exercises related to the topic, offering guidance when needed, and encouraging them to ask questions as they go.
Review & Feedback (5-10 minutes): At the end of each session, I review the student's work, provide feedback, and discuss any areas to focus on for next time.
