About Leyla
I was born in the States, and have lived and taught English in several different countries over the past 17 years. These experiences have lead me to an understanding of where my students are coming from, both literally and figuratively, and helped me to develop lessons that are comprehensive, interesting, and enjoyable.

My lessons are tailored to the specific needs of the learner. With 15+ years experience, I have learned to create lessons that are fun and comfortable, but thorough and effective. I believe the most important aspect in a one on one lesson is trust between the teacher and learner. From the beginning, I try to create an environment where the student feels not only relaxed, but excited to learn. A typical lesson would be 45 minutes, but that can be extended to an hour, and broken down to shorter lessons (not less than 25 mins.), depending on the goals of the learner.
