About Evelyn
I have been teaching high school students at Yeshivah of Flatbush in Brooklyn New York for the past 16 years. I have taught Spanish I and Spanish 2 classes , each class consisting of 20-30 students.
I have also tutored students that had difficulties in mastering spanish and hebrew privately.
I pride myself in being able to motivate my students into learning the foreign language and feeling confident .

I am a certified , experienced foreign language with more than 24 years .I have taught multilevel courses in Spanish Portuguese and Hebrew in New York and in the State of Florida .
I conduct my classes in the target lesson using little or no translation ( only when it's absolutely necessary)
Being born and raised in Brazil till the age of 15, I was exposed to three different languages while growing . I became interested in language acquisition and determined to pursue my studies in foreign languages and education.
Experiencing first hand the similarities and differences of each individual language structure, i relate well to my students and do give them the necessary skills to become fluent in the target language.
In the past few years my students have participated in the National spanish and Portuguese contest throughout the New York Metropolitan area and receive honorable mentions and high recognitions.
