About the lesson

I have taught French 1 to Advanced Placement to learners with a variety of learning styles.
As your tutor, I will start by determining your level and learning about your interests in order to plan lessons that meet your individual needs and goals.
For example, if you need to work on skills to pass a university level placement test and you are interested in climate change, I will choose an approach that uses materials tailored to this theme to build vocabulary and sentence structure recognition and production. I will speak to you about your points of interest both conversationally and in terms of the materials that you have read or listened to.
If your goal is to work on speaking and listening skills because you are planning a trip or a year abroad, then I will work with you on everyday topics based on the places where you will be travelling, your needs while travelling or living abroad, and your specific interests.
