About Erin
I am a certified elementary school teacher (grades 1-6) and teacher of the D/deaf and hard of hearing with an additional bachelors degree in English. I have been working at a school for the Deaf for 3 years and spent 2 years before that teaching in a public school setting. I have taught students with a variety of special needs, kindergarten to age 21, both in person and online.

I love to make learning fun! Working on the subjects that are difficult for you doesn't need to be stressful. When it comes to basic English academics I teach by finding ways to incorporate games and activities whenever possible. For older students, and those focusing on essay writing, I work to find your voice in your writing while offering constructive feedback and explanations on suggested changes. This will allow you to not only have an fantastic end result to your paper workshopping, but gain skills to apply to future writing.
