About Ivy
I am a professional guitar instructor with an Associate of Arts in Guitar Fundamentals and more than 4 years of hands-on experience. My expertise lies in preparing students for auditions, band rehearsals, and live stage performances. Real-world readiness is my priority.
My lessons emphasize timing, groove, and ensemble balance. Tight rhythm is essential. I train students to stay synchronized with drums and bass while maintaining clarity in their playing. Stage presence is treated as a learned skill. Students develop poise and expressive confidence.
My teaching approach is positive yet structured. I maintain high expectations. Creative teamwork is central to my philosophy. I encourage active listening and dynamic responsiveness in group settings. My goal is to shape disciplined, collaborative musicians ready for any stage.

Lessons are designed for both playing and instrument mastery. You’ll learn string changing, setup, and guitar maintenance. We explore electronics, pickups, and pedal use to shape your tone effectively. Each session is hands-on and practical.
