Discover the Joy of Hindustani Classical Music with Mrinalini
I’m Mrinalini, a passionate Hindustani vocalist with a Prabhakar diploma from Prayag Sangeet Samiti and more than three years of teaching experience. My classes are designed for school children, college students, and adults who wish to explore Indian classical music at their own pace.
In each session, we begin with voice culture and breathing exercises, then move on to basic alankars, swara practice, and raga introductions. As students progress, we explore bandish, taan, aalap and the interpretation of lyrics, always balancing traditional discipline with an encouraging, modern approach.
I believe in interactive teaching—demonstrating, guiding, and then letting students try for themselves—so every learner builds confidence and develops a personal connection to music. My goal is to create a warm space where heritage meets creativity and every student finds their own voice.
