About Saki
Hi! I'm Saki, a certified Japanese teacher from Osaka, Japan I've been teaching Japanese for over 5 years in Japan, Thailand, and Australia. I've taught students from a variety of backgrounds and levels, from complete beginners to advanced learners, as well as both children and adults. I've also lived in Oslo, Bangkok, and Brisbane, so I understand how exciting and challenging it can be to live abroad and learn a new language. I can also use English during lessons when needed, especially if you're just starting to learn Japanese. My lessons can focus on conversation, grammar, pronunciation, travel Japanese, or whatever you'd like to improve. I always tailor my lessons to each student's goals and level. Whether you're learning Japanese for travel, work, everyday conversation, or simply because you love Japan, I'd be happy to help! Don't worry about making mistakes — my lessons are relaxed, friendly, and focused on helping you feel confident speaking Japanese.
