About Nakshatra
I am Nakshatra, a certified Kuchipudi classical dance instructor with 9 years of dedicated training and over 40 stage performances. Dance is not just a skill for me, but a lifelong discipline and devotion. Through years of learning, performing, and teaching, I have developed a strong foundation in technique, abhinaya, mudras, and stage presentation.
I believe in maintaining the authenticity and purity of Kuchipudi while adapting my teaching style to suit each student’s pace and comfort. My students appreciate my patience, clarity in instruction, and structured approach to training.
I am committed to guiding every learner with professionalism, dedication, and encouragement so they grow not only as dancers but also in confidence and discipline.

As a dedicated Kuchipudi instructor with 9 years of experience and 40+ stage performances, I, Nakshatra, believe in preserving the purity and tradition of this classical art form while making learning structured and enjoyable. My teaching approach focuses strongly on fundamentals such as posture, footwork (adavus), mudras, abhinaya, rhythm and stage discipline.
Each class begins with warm-ups and basic technique practice, followed by structured learning of adavus, jathis, slokas and choreography. I ensure that students understand the meaning behind every movement so that expression comes naturally and gracefully.
My special focus is on clarity of technique, emotional expression, and performance confidence. I train students patiently according to their level and learning pace.
Classes are designed for all ages and all levels — from young beginners and school children to college students and adults who wish to learn or refine their skills in Kuchipudi.
