I specialize in helping beginner readers build a strong foundation in reading confidence, phonics, and literacy skills. My lessons are tailored for young learners, early readers, and anyone struggling with the basics of reading.
My Approach & Teaching Methodology:
I use a structured, multi-sensory approach focusing on phonemic awareness, sight words, and interactive storytelling. I believe in creating a supportive, patient, and fun environment where mistakes are welcomed as learning opportunities.
A Typical Lesson Plan:
5 Mins: Fun warm-up with sight words or alphabet sounds.
15 Mins: Direct instruction on new sounds, blends, or phonics patterns.
15 Mins: Guided reading using engaging, level-appropriate short stories.
5 Mins: Interactive wrap-up game to reinforce comprehension and vocabulary.
