About Irene

Hi, I am Irene :-) With over a decade of experience, I'm a passionate native Spanish teacher who has had the privilege of instructing learners of all ages and levels. I speak five languages, and my teaching journey began when I taught Spanish to German children who relocated to Spain. Since then, I've shared my love for the Spanish language and culture with children, teenagers, and adults. As a certified teacher, I have taught Spanish at various language schools in Brisbane. My teaching philosophy revolves around the idea that learning a new language should be an enriching and enjoyable experience. I enjoy teaching grammar, exam preparation, and Spanish for business, but what truly excites my students is Spanish conversation and the prospect of becoming fluent and confident speakers, ready to travel and immerse themselves in Spanish-speaking cultures. I'm an active and cheerful person who loves meeting new people. I'm committed to making your Spanish classes dynamic, engaging, and fun. About the lesson

As a language enthusiast myself, I understand the importance of engaging, interactive learning experiences. My goal is to ensure that my students make the most of our lessons, leaving the self-guided and independent practice for their own study time. I tailor my lessons to accommodate your schedule, proficiency level, and learning pace. Whether you have limited or ample free time, we'll find the approach that suits you best. In my teaching approach, I integrate vocabulary building, grammar mastery, reading comprehension, and most importantly, speaking proficiency. Together, we explore various exercises, activities, and games that make learning Spanish enjoyable and effective. Many of my students often remark on the fun they have during our lessons, which is why I'm fortunate to have long-term students who are committed to their language journey. Your questions and specific learning requests are always welcome. I'm here to adapt each class to your unique needs and learning objectives. Let's embark on this language-learning adventure together! :-)
