About Aim
With 8 years of experience teaching piano, I have taught students ranging from young beginners to advanced learners and working professionals. My teaching philosophy emphasises creating a positive, encouraging, and engaging environment where students feel motivated to develop their skills and musical expression.
I have guided students in recitals, competitions, and graded exams, helping them achieve milestones and perform confidently. Lessons include technique, sight-reading, music theory, improvisation, and expressive playing, all adapted to the student’s level and interests. I strive to make piano learning enjoyable, meaningful, and rewarding.

I follow a teaching philosophy based on compassion, encouragement, and consistent guidance. I believe students thrive in a supportive environment where they feel understood, motivated, and confident.
In piano lessons, I focus on technical development, musicality, rhythm, and expressive interpretation, blending structured exercises with creative, engaging pieces. Open communication is central—I encourage students to ask questions, set goals, and share their learning challenges.
Supportiveness is at the heart of my methodology—I guide students patiently, celebrate milestones, and help them gain confidence in their abilities. I extend this same approach to other subjects I teach, such as music theory, beginner composition, and improvisation.
My goal is to create a nurturing environment that inspires students to develop skill, creativity, and a lifelong love for music and learning.
