About Lauren
I am 26 year old professional. I strive to foster growth, acceptance and confidence in anyone I am teaching. I have two degrees, the first being an honours in Sociology and the second being a bachelor of education. Additionally, I taught youth to read and write in English. I am very passionate about teaching and my own education and experiences have allowed me to foster an inclusive, diverse, and supportive learning environment.

I am a teacher in HRCE with experience working at Halifax Learning Co. teaching youth to read and write. Many of those that I taught had learning exceptionalities and/or were english additional language (EAL) learners. I enjoy interacting with others and do my best to ensure an inclusive and welcoming environment for everyone.
