About Luis Antonio
I’m a certified Special Education teacher with over 13 years of experience teaching in both the U.S. and the Philippines. I’ve supported students in inclusion and self-contained classrooms, focusing on middle and high school reading, writing, and literature. I’m especially passionate about helping students with learning differences build their skills and confidence through patient, individualized instruction. I also have a deep love for poetry and enjoy using it to help students connect with language in a creative way. For me, teaching is more than a job. It is a lifelong mission to empower every learner to succeed.

Each lesson is tailored to meet the unique needs and learning goals of the student. I begin by identifying strengths and areas for growth, then build structured, engaging lessons that support skill development in reading, writing, and literature—especially for middle and high school students. I incorporate evidence-based strategies, including multisensory techniques, and adjust my teaching style based on how the student learns best. I also help students with IEP goals, reading comprehension, essay writing, and even explore poetry to develop expression and critical thinking. Lessons are supportive, interactive, and focused on building confidence as much as academic progress.
