About Sonia
Performing within a leading American chamber ensemble allows me to refine the technical precision I share with students in my Seattle home studio. My 6 years of experience include holding Suzuki Association of the Americas Certification for levels 1 through 5. Instruction covers everything from fundamental tone production and tuning by ear to advanced spiccato and staccato bowing.
I guide students through shifting positions and vibrato with the same exacting standards used for orchestral playing. My process centers on steady progress through grade exams like ABRSM and Trinity. Expect a methodical approach that emphasizes clarity in every musical gesture.

Work focuses on concerto repertoire such as Mendelssohn, Bruch, Sibelius, and Tchaikovsky. We integrate orchestral audition standards into our daily routine.
