I applied to do my matric after more than twenty years out of a classroom. Circumstances did not allow me to go to a school or attend classes, so I did it on my own. It was not easy as my first language was Afrikaans and I now chose to do matric as English Home Language. It was a definite struggle. Zayaan took me under her wing and English got so much easier. I started enjoying it especially Shakespeare. I would not have been able to pass English and many of my other subjects on the first attempt. Zayaan taught my class last year when she did her teaching practice for University. She is someone who always made me feel comfortable especially if I was unsure about schoolwork. I found her to be very patient and understanding. Her warm personality and how she approached us as students was very outstanding and I feel that she contributed hugely towards my marks, but above all, my confidence level.

She does extremely well with her explanations, extremely confident and tries many different methods to find the best way for you to understand what is needed to know. She's quite patient and you don't feel afraid to voice any problems you have if you do not understand. My marks has honestly improved quite a bit because of her tutelage.

Speaking from experience. Zayaan is a great tutor as she takes special care in focusing on what it is the student needs. She is someone you can be comfortable around when it comes to asking questions about things you don't know and her methods of tutoring are of the best as she is very good in providing practical examples and explaining information clearly.
