About Jocelyn
I am a second-year certified teacher with the Ontario College of Teachers, currently working in the Toronto Catholic District School Board. I have been teaching privately for over 6 years, and have had nothing but positive reviews from my students! I offer a phonics-based approach to reading for young children. My lessons include sight word study, phonemic awareness (aural/oral) and phonics (reading/spelling), followed by reading of a story, and learning reading strategies to help tackle new words. My activities are fun and child-friendly and will guarantee to help your child fast-track their reading!
