About Ellen
I consider myself a "citizen of the world" and I speak multiple languages, thanks to many travels and time living abroad. In addition to teaching ESL, French, and Spanish, I have worked as a tourguide (in English, French and German) and led professional groups around the US for international participants traveling under the auspices of the US State Dept. (cultural branch, not political). Nothing gives me more satisfaction and makes me more enthusiastic than experiencing a culture firsthand, communicating well in a foreign language, and crossing borders, whether within my own country or abroad. If I can help others to enjoy the same confident intercultural experiences, I know I'm making a difference toward global peace and community, one person or one group at a time!
