Teaching Methodology and Techniques
My teaching philosophy is built on a "First Principles" approach. Chemistry, especially Organic Chemistry, often feels like a foreign language to many students. I focus on breaking down complex concepts—like hybridization, functional groups, and reaction mechanisms—into relatable, everyday analogies that actually make sense.
I prioritize visual learning, using molecular models and diagrams to help you visualize how atoms bond rather than just asking you to memorize structures. My sessions are interactive; I use a method where we solve problems together until you feel confident enough to tackle exam questions independently. When you understand the logic of why a reaction happens, you won't need to rely on rote memorization anymore.
Typical Lesson Structure
