About Yeva
My name is Yeva. I am a 23-year old student at the University of Glasgow (it is my second degree).
I have a great passion for languages. I love learning new languages and teaching them to my students. Right now, I am learning French and have already achieved an A2 level.
In my spare time I enjoy reading books and playing video games. I am a big fan of crime fiction and horror.
Four years ago, I have decided to do a 180 and move to the UK on my own. Now, after gaining first-hand experience of immigration, I feel comfortable in this country, especially when it comes to speaking with locals. Over the past 4 years, my English has improved significantly, and I would be more than happy to share my knowledge with you!!!

My teaching approach is making student feel comfortable and confident, without any judgement for making mistakes. All materials will be adjusted to student's level and personal interests. I will give my students freedom to talk and express themselves in English without interrupting. We are learning language through making mistakes and working on them in future.
I have previous experience as a tutor and I find this job quite interesting. I love teaching my students and see their progress! I have obtained IELTS certificate which states that I have C1 level. For the last four years, I have been living and studying in English speaking environment which has highly improved my knowledge of English slang and terminology.

Yeva helped me to improve my conversational English for traveling. As I am not originally from the UK, my English was not very perfect. Yeva has helped me to feel more confident while talking to people abroad.
I had lessons with Yeva a couple months ago, and I can confidently say she is an excellent tutor. I had to prepare for my GSCE exams and I found Yeva's advertisement on one of the websites. Her lessons were always well-prepared and adapted to my level. We were preparing for tests but it always felt so enjoyable and, in the end of the day, effective.
