About Trinh

Hello, everyone!
You've come to the right place if:
Your child is a complete beginner or only speaks a little Vietnamese.
Your teen understands the language but lacks the confidence to speak it fluently.
You are an adult starting completely from scratch, or someone who understands Vietnamese but hesitates to speak.
I'm Trinh, and I specialize in teaching Vietnamese to Kids, Teens and adults beginners. My big goal is to make learning an absolute joy and effective!
** Accent: I was born in Central Vietnam (Hà Tĩnh), studied in the North, and currently live in the South (Vũng Tàu), so I can teach both Central and Northern accents while helping you understand the Southern dialect.

About the lesson

**Teaching Style: 'Natural approach'
For kids, I use mostly Vietnamese so they can learn naturally through listening, images,stories and context. I only use a little English when needed to explain. The curriculum focuses on real-life communication, ensuring students learn correct pronunciation while practicing full sentences.

(For Adults, I use the same method as I do with kids, but with a more mature focus. We use practical topics to build confidence quickly. I prioritize speaking and listening over grammar rules. My goal is to help you communicate clearly in everyday situations.)

Vietnamese for Kids and Teens : Fun & Easy!

Every lesson includes speaking and pronunciation practice so your child can build real confidence. I use fun activities, short stories, videos, and games to keep kids excited and engaged—no boring lessons!

Here is what we will learn together:

Module 1: Meet the Alphabet!
We will learn basic alphabet sounds, simple syllables, and easy vocabulary. Kids will start reading, writing, and speaking their first Vietnamese words and simple sentences through songs, stories and educational videos.

Module 2: Master the Tones & Family
We will practice Vietnamese tones through different activities. Kids will learn how to talk about their family and use common sentences at home, helping them feel more confident and motivated.

My “Never Bored” Lesson Recipe:

Every class includes:

5 mins: Review the previous lesson
10–15 mins: Phonics, reading, writing, and short story reading
30 mins: Conversation practice, vocabulary review and homework (if needed).

Perfect! Trinh is so good with the kids and is very patient and kind. Her communication and responses are also timely, and it helps her English is very good because my Vietnamese is not great either. The quizzes and lessons she provides the kids have kept them engaged and they seem to enjoy the classes and look forward to going. Highly recommend to anyone who is looking to learn vietnamese.
