About Sheridan
I love helping others learn -in high school I taught and tutored ASL. I also was tutored in undergrad so I understand which methods are helpful and which ones aren't. I also have my share of academic failures so I understand what it means to fail and get back up and crush the next exam!

I would tutor students the way I used to learn - making connections that last. Not only will students remember the information, but they will be able to apply it to different concepts instead of spitting out random information they memorized. This helped me throughout undergrad and currently PA school.
I avoid flashcards and instead use the "memory palace" technique that has been used by many to improve extended memory.
