About Makayla
I am currently pursuing my Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering at the University of Louisville, where I have developed a strong foundation in mathematics, chemistry, physics, and other sciences. I am passionate about helping students build confidence in subjects that may initially seem challenging or overwhelming.
My approach to tutoring is patient, supportive, and personalized. I take the time to understand each student’s learning style and explain concepts in a clear and easy-to-understand way. Whether you need help with homework, preparing for an exam, strengthening foundational skills, or simply gaining a better understanding of a subject, I am here to help.
I work with students in math and science and can also provide support with English and general academic skills. My goal is not only to help students improve their grades, but also to help them develop problem-solving skills and confidence that they can carry into future classes.
