About Silindokuhle
I hold a Bachelor of Science in Applied Chemistry from the University of KwaZulu-Natal, where I earned a certificate of merit for outstanding performance in Organic Chemistry and was selected to represent my class as the Applied Chemistry class representative. My tutoring experience spans several years and levels — from mentoring first-year university students and tutoring Grade 10 Mathematics through the Rotary Club of Durban Umhlatuzana, to my current roles as an assistant teacher at Secunda Christian Academy and Saturday tutor for Grade 10–12 learners. I bring genuine laboratory and research experience alongside strong report-writing and presentation skills, and I approach every lesson with the same care and reliability I'd want for my own learning: structured, patient, and focused on real understanding rather than quick fixes.

I tutor by building customised plans for each student and breaking concepts down step-by-step rather than teaching one-size-fits-all. A typical lesson starts with identifying where you're stuck, works through the concept with real examples, and ends with practice problems so you leave having actually done it yourself. What sets me apart is range — I've taught everyone from intermediate phase learners to Grade 10–12 students to first-year university students, plus real laboratory and research experience behind the theory. My lessons are for high school learners (Grade 10–12) in Maths, Physics, and Chemistry, first-year university students needing extra support, and younger learners who want a patient, encouraging teacher.
