I hold a Bachelor of Science (Honors) in Bioscience with Chemistry, awarded with Merit, and bring over five years of professional experience in the chemical industry as a chemist and technical specialist. I tutor Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics with a focus on building genuine understanding rather than rote memorizing. I believe a student who understands the foundation never has to rely on blind memorizing. For Chemistry and Biology, I focus on the "why" before the "what" — making the core concept clear first, then building the details on top. Drawing on my years working as a chemist, I connect textbook theory to real life so ideas actually stick, and I help students condense each topic into a few clear, memorable key points for exams.
For Mathematics, it's all about breaking the question down. I train students to identify what a question is really asking, choose the right method, and solve it step by step — so they can approach unfamiliar problems with confidence instead of panic.
My goal across every subject is genuine understanding, built at the student's own pace in a relaxed environment where asking questions is always welcome. Typical length of a lesson around 2 hours. I have 6 months experience for primary and preschool children currently.
