About Alok

I am a straight A student at Duke University, double majoring in Chemistry and Computer Science. I have 2+ years of experience as a tutor and served as a TA for AP Chemistry in high school. In college, I have taken and succeeded in Organic Chemistry I, II, General Chemistry, Molecular Biology, Calculus I, and their lab components. Additionally, I have nearly three years of laboratory experience and a conceptual understanding of chemistry that goes beyond the course. As a person, I am extremely patient, want to see my students grow, and am young - I know exactly what you are going through as I was only recently in your shoes!

About the lesson

Hello! My name is Alok, and I am an undergraduate student at Duke. I have been a tutor/TA for nearly two years and specialize in Chemistry. My lessons are comprehensive, easy to understand, and I have a strong mastery of the material. I am a very patient tutor and love to see growth in my students. Moreover, as a young, college student, I know exactly what you are going through. I know the difficulty of these classes and the learning habits you need to succeed. Organic Chemistry is not about the amount of time you invest, I will help you learn and approach problems in an efficient and smart way!
