About Sandrine
I developed a deep interest in chemistry through observing reactions and exploring molecular structures, motivating me to complete a B.Sc in Chemistry and an M.Sc in Organic Chemistry. Over the past 6 years, I have guided students through both theoretical understanding and practical applications, focusing on clear explanations, stepwise guidance, and hands-on examples to strengthen comprehension and confidence.
My teaching style emphasises patience, clarity, and interactive learning. I use real-world examples, diagrams, and exercises to illustrate concepts while encouraging students to ask questions, explore ideas, and develop independent reasoning skills. I aim to make chemistry engaging, logical, and approachable.
Beyond the classroom, I stay updated with research developments, laboratory experiments, and chemical applications, which enrich my lessons. Witnessing students progress from confusion to mastery, gaining confidence and curiosity about chemical processes, provides me with great satisfaction. My ultimate goal is to instil understanding, analytical thinking, and a lasting appreciation for chemistry in every student I teach.

Chemistry becomes more understandable when students connect concepts to tangible reactions and experiments they can observe or simulate. My lessons cover atomic structure, chemical bonding, stoichiometry, reaction mechanisms, acids and bases, and organic chemistry in simple, relatable terms. I use diagrams, practical examples, and stepwise explanations to build both conceptual understanding and problem-solving ability. Each lesson balances theory, calculations, and discussion, allowing students to engage actively and deepen their comprehension of chemical processes.
Lesson plans are customised for every student. Beginners focus on understanding atoms, molecules, basic reactions, and safety procedures. Intermediate learners explore chemical equations, quantitative analysis, and organic reaction mechanisms. Advanced students engage with complex reaction networks, lab simulation exercises, and preparation for exams or research applications. Each session encourages questioning, reasoning, and independent thinking to help learners gradually master chemistry concepts with confidence.
