About Trent
I hold a PhD in Chemistry and have 11 years of teaching experience working with students from different academic levels. My interest in Chemistry began with curiosity about how substances react and change, which later developed into a strong passion for teaching.
My teaching approach focuses on clarity, patience, and structured explanation. I simplify complex topics into easy steps so students can understand them clearly. I use examples, diagrams, and practical connections to make learning more effective and engaging. I also adapt my teaching style based on each student’s pace and comfort level to ensure a supportive learning environment.
Outside of teaching, I enjoy exploring scientific research and staying updated with developments in Chemistry. Teaching Chemistry is very fulfilling because I see students grow in confidence and understanding over time. Helping them overcome challenges and achieve their academic goals motivates me to continue teaching with dedication and care.

Chemistry becomes easier when students understand how concepts are connected instead of memorizing formulas and reactions without clarity. My lessons focus on building strong understanding in topics such as atomic structure, chemical bonding, reactions, and organic chemistry through simple and structured explanations. I guide students step by step so they can understand how substances interact and how different principles are applied in problem solving. I also include examples and real-life connections that help learners relate theory to everyday situations. Each session is interactive and supportive, allowing students to ask questions freely and learn at their own pace without pressure.
I carefully structure lessons based on each student’s level and learning goals to ensure steady progress. Beginners focus on basic concepts, terminology, and simple reactions. Intermediate learners work on balancing equations, understanding reaction mechanisms, and solving structured problems. Advanced students focus on complex topics, exam preparation, and improving accuracy and clarity in answers. Practice questions, revision strategies, and regular feedback are included to strengthen understanding and support consistent improvement.
Chemistry lessons also help students develop logical thinking, observation skills, and confidence. As they improve, they begin to understand how Chemistry connects to everyday life. Many learners start finding the subject interesting once concepts become clear. My goal is to make Chemistry simple, structured, and confidence-building.
