About Valeria
My passion for Chemistry began with a fascination for the invisible forces that govern molecular behavior. I earned a B.Sc in Chemical Sciences, studying reaction mechanisms, thermodynamics, bonding theories, and analytical techniques. Over 8 years, I have taught learners at different levels, focusing on conceptual clarity, reasoning skills, and confidence-building. I emphasize patience, structure, and adaptability in my teaching. Lessons integrate visual aids, real-life examples, and stepwise problem-solving to ensure understanding. I aim to foster a safe learning environment where students feel encouraged to ask questions, explore ideas, and develop intellectual independence. Outside teaching, I remain engaged with research, laboratory experiments, and new pedagogical techniques. Witnessing learners progress from uncertainty to confident, independent thinkers is deeply rewarding. Helping students develop mastery, curiosity, and analytical skills is the cornerstone of my approach, preparing them to thrive academically and personally.

Chemistry is most engaging when students understand the principles governing reactions and molecular interactions rather than relying on memorization. My lessons cover atomic structure, chemical bonding, stoichiometry, thermodynamics, acids and bases, equilibrium, and introductory organic chemistry. Lesson plans are tailored for each student. Beginners focus on atomic theory, bonding, and simple reactions. Intermediate learners progress to mole calculations, reaction energetics, and chemical equilibrium. Advanced students tackle multi-step organic reactions, laboratory data interpretation, and thermodynamic problem-solving.
