About Hallie
My interest in chemistry grew from a fascination with measurement, precision, and chemical behaviour. I earned a B.Sc in Analytical Chemistry, gaining strong training in laboratory methods and theoretical understanding. Over 10 years of teaching, I have helped students transform complex chemical ideas into manageable, logical concepts.
I value structured explanation and calm guidance in my teaching. I adapt lessons to individual needs and focus on helping learners understand core principles deeply. Students are encouraged to ask questions and reflect on their thinking without pressure.
Beyond teaching, I stay connected to chemistry through academic reading and applied problem analysis. Teaching chemistry is fulfilling because I see learners gain confidence and precision. Supporting that growth motivates my work.

Chemistry lessons focus on helping learners understand how molecular principles govern observable outcomes. I introduce topics by building clear conceptual foundations before moving into numerical work. Students explore atomic structure, bonding, reaction types, and solution behaviour through guided reasoning and structured explanation. Each lesson emphasises logical connections so learners can predict outcomes rather than rely on memorisation.
As understanding deepens, lessons incorporate stoichiometry, equilibrium, thermodynamics, and reaction rates. I guide learners through systematic problem-solving steps, explaining not only how to solve problems but why each step matters. Carefully selected practice questions reinforce accuracy and reduce exam-related anxiety. Lessons progress steadily to ensure confidence remains strong.
Chemistry learning also develops discipline, focus, and analytical thinking. Students gain confidence as they begin to trust their reasoning and calculations. Many develop curiosity about chemical processes in everyday life. My goal is to help learners approach chemistry with clarity, confidence, and intellectual curiosity.
