About Griffin
My interest in chemistry began during my Master’s Degree in Organic Chemistry, where I explored how chemical reactions occur and how different compounds interact. I was always curious about how chemistry explains everyday processes. Over the past 8 years, I have worked with many students, helping them understand chemistry clearly and build confidence through structured and supportive teaching.
I believe that chemistry should feel logical and not confusing when it is taught properly. My teaching approach focuses on breaking down complex concepts into simple steps so students can understand them gradually. I use clear explanations, examples, and repeated practice to support learning. I also take time to understand each student’s pace and adjust my teaching style so they feel comfortable and confident.
Outside of teaching, I continue reading about developments in chemistry and improving my teaching methods. This helps me provide better support to students. Teaching chemistry is very fulfilling to me because I enjoy helping students move from confusion to clarity, build strong understanding, and develop confidence in their ability to learn and apply scientific concepts effectively.

Chemistry becomes easier when students understand how reactions work instead of memorizing equations without clarity. In my lessons, I focus on building strong conceptual understanding through simple and structured explanations. We begin with basic topics such as atomic structure, bonding, and chemical reactions. I explain each concept clearly using examples so students can understand how different elements interact. This approach helps reduce confusion and builds a strong foundation.
As students progress, I introduce more advanced topics such as organic chemistry, thermodynamics, and reaction mechanisms. I guide students step by step so they understand both the theory and its application. Each lesson includes practice questions, detailed explanations, and correction support to improve accuracy. I also help students develop clear methods to approach different types of chemical problems with confidence.
Chemistry lessons also help students develop analytical thinking, observation skills, and logical reasoning. They learn how to understand patterns in reactions and apply their knowledge effectively. Over time, students become more confident and independent learners. My goal is to make chemistry simple, clear, and engaging while helping students build strong understanding and long-term confidence.
