About Vanya
I am a Chemistry tutor with over 5 years of experience and hold a Master’s degree in Chemistry (MChem). My passion lies in helping students understand complex topics in atmospheric chemistry and environmental pollution. Over the years, I have successfully guided many learners through challenging concepts like smog formation, ozone depletion, acid rain, and the effects of greenhouse gases. I work closely with environmental science students as well as those interested in air quality and climate policy. My goal is to make these important topics clear and engaging, linking chemistry principles to real-world environmental issues. I believe that understanding the chemistry behind pollution is key to addressing the challenges our planet faces today. My teaching style focuses on building strong foundational knowledge while encouraging curiosity and critical thinking. I use practical examples and up-to-date research to explain how chemical reactions impact the atmosphere. This approach helps students see the bigger picture and prepares them for academic success and informed decision-making. It brings me great joy to analyze the chemistry of our atmosphere and share that excitement with my students. Together, we explore how chemistry can contribute to protecting and preserving the environment for future generations.

My teaching approach in Chemistry is highly practical and focused on step-by-step problem-solving. I believe that understanding the basics of stoichiometry, chemical reactions, balancing equations, and reaction kinetics is essential for mastering the subject. I also cover related topics such as thermodynamics, equilibrium, acid-base chemistry, and molecular structure to give students a well-rounded knowledge base. My lessons are designed to connect theory with real-world applications, making learning meaningful and engaging.
Using tools like Cell Explorer and Biotech Dreamer, I ensure that students’ calculations are accurate and aligned with practical lab work. This hands-on approach supports their ability to analyze data and interpret results effectively.
Every session is tailored to meet individual needs, helping students overcome difficulties and progress steadily. The goal is not only to complete assignments but to develop skills that lead to academic success and deeper understanding.
