About Ovia
My interest in Chemistry began with curiosity about how substances change and interact in the world around us. I completed a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Sciences followed by a Master's Degree in Chemical Sciences. For the past 5 years, I have helped students understand Chemistry through clear and structured teaching methods.
I believe students learn best when concepts are explained simply and connected to real-life examples. My teaching style focuses on patience, clarity, and step-by-step guidance that builds confidence. I encourage students to ask questions and focus on understanding rather than memorising.
Outside teaching, I enjoy exploring laboratory techniques, chemical research, and material science applications. Staying updated helps me bring real-world relevance into my lessons. Helping students gain confidence in Chemistry is one of the most rewarding parts of my work.

My Chemistry lessons are designed to make scientific ideas simple, clear, and easy to follow. I teach topics such as atomic structure, periodic trends, chemical bonding, acids and bases, stoichiometry, and reaction behaviour using real-life examples and step-by-step explanations. Instead of memorising reactions, students learn how and why chemical processes happen in nature.
Each lesson is adapted to the student’s level and learning goals. Beginners focus on basic concepts and foundational understanding, while intermediate learners improve equation balancing and numerical problem solving. Advanced students work on reaction mechanisms, deeper theory, and structured analytical questions through guided practice. Regular revision helps strengthen accuracy and confidence.
Chemistry builds observation, logic, and analytical thinking. My goal is to help students feel confident in solving chemical problems and understanding scientific concepts. With patient guidance, Chemistry becomes structured and easier to learn.
