About Lennon
My passion for chemistry developed from an interest in how molecular interactions drive industrial and natural processes. I earned a B.Sc in Industrial Chemistry, gaining strong foundations in physical chemistry, analytical methods, and applied systems. Over 11 years of teaching, I have guided students through challenging topics by emphasising clarity, structure, and confidence.
I approach teaching with patience and adaptability, ensuring explanations align with each learner’s pace. I focus on helping students understand underlying principles rather than memorising procedures. Learners are encouraged to ask questions and reflect on their reasoning, which builds lasting understanding.
Outside teaching, I remain engaged with chemistry through applied reading and problem exploration. Teaching chemistry is deeply rewarding because I witness learners move from hesitation to confidence. Helping students trust their analytical abilities and appreciate chemical reasoning is central to my work.

Chemistry lessons are structured to help learners understand how theoretical principles govern real chemical behaviour. I focus on building clear mental models of atomic structure, bonding, reactions, and energy changes before introducing calculations. By emphasising cause-and-effect relationships, students gain confidence in topics such as stoichiometry, acids and bases, reaction rates, and equilibrium. Each lesson unfolds gradually, ensuring concepts are fully understood before moving forward.
As students progress, lessons include deeper analysis of thermodynamics, kinetics, redox reactions, and solution chemistry. I guide learners through structured problem-solving methods that reduce confusion and improve accuracy. Practice exercises are carefully selected to reinforce understanding while encouraging logical reasoning. Regular feedback helps students identify strengths and refine weak areas without feeling overwhelmed.
Chemistry learning also strengthens discipline, precision, and analytical thinking. Students become more confident in handling complex calculations and interpreting chemical systems.
