About Lena
My fascination with Chemistry started through curiosity about how matter changes, reacts, and interacts in both nature and everyday life. This interest encouraged me to complete a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Science followed by a Master’s Degree in Physical Chemistry. Over the past 8 years, I have guided students through different Chemistry topics while helping them strengthen scientific understanding through supportive and structured learning methods.
I believe effective teaching requires patience, adaptability, and clear communication that matches the learner’s pace. My teaching style focuses on practical explanation, visual learning, and guided problem-solving techniques that make difficult concepts easier to understand. I encourage students to ask questions openly and participate actively because involvement helps build confidence naturally over time.
Outside teaching, I enjoy reading about laboratory research, environmental chemistry, and scientific innovation. Staying connected to scientific developments allows me to bring interesting discussions and practical examples into lessons regularly. Teaching Chemistry is meaningful to me because I enjoy helping students become more confident and capable in science. My goal is always to support learners in developing strong understanding while building lasting academic confidence.

My Chemistry lessons focus on helping students understand scientific ideas clearly through structured explanation, guided practice, and practical examples. I teach atomic structure, bonding, reactions, acids, thermodynamics, and organic chemistry in a supportive environment where learners can improve confidently at their own pace. Difficult topics are broken into simpler sections so students can understand concepts gradually without unnecessary pressure. Every lesson encourages active participation and curiosity.
Lessons are planned according to the student’s academic level and learning goals. Beginners focus on formulae, equations, and foundational scientific concepts, while advanced learners work on calculations, reaction mechanisms, analytical questions, and exam preparation techniques. I use diagrams, revision exercises, and relatable examples regularly because visual learning and practice strengthen understanding effectively. Students are encouraged to explain their reasoning so they develop stronger conceptual clarity and confidence.
I aim to create a positive atmosphere where students feel comfortable learning Chemistry step by step without fear of making mistakes. Many learners begin the subject feeling overwhelmed by formulae and reactions, so I focus on simplifying ideas through patience and structured support. Over time, students improve scientific thinking, organisation, and confidence in solving problems independently. Chemistry becomes much easier when learners understand the logic behind chemical behaviour clearly.
