About Marin
My interest in chemistry began with curiosity about how substances interact and transform. I earned a Master’s Degree in Chemistry, specializing in organic chemistry, analytical methods, and laboratory skills. Over eleven years, I have taught students at all levels, integrating conceptual understanding with hands-on experimentation to foster confidence, competence, and critical thinking. I teach with patience, clarity, and adaptability, tailoring lessons to individual learning styles. Lessons emphasize comprehension, practical application, and analytical reasoning, encouraging exploration and independent problem-solving. Outside the classroom, I engage in research, workshops, and ongoing professional development. Chemistry is not merely a career—it is a passion that inspires curiosity, creativity, and practical problem-solving. Witnessing students evolve from beginners to confident learners capable of designing experiments, analyzing results, and applying knowledge independently is profoundly rewarding. My mission is to cultivate both mastery and a lifelong enthusiasm for the subject.

My lessons focus on developing both conceptual understanding and practical laboratory skills. I foster a supportive environment where students are encouraged to ask questions, experiment, and analyze results critically. Lessons combine theoretical explanations, hands-on experiments, and problem-solving exercises, helping learners connect abstract principles to real-world phenomena and develop analytical thinking alongside practical expertise.
Beginners explore atomic structure, bonding, chemical reactions, and the periodic table. Intermediate learners focus on stoichiometry, thermochemistry, acids and bases, and kinetics. Advanced students study organic reactions, spectroscopy, equilibrium, and advanced laboratory techniques. Lessons include exercises, experiments, and exam preparation, with guidance provided for assignments, research projects, and skill development.
Chemistry develops analytical reasoning, precision, and critical thinking. Students leave lessons capable of designing experiments, interpreting data, and applying theoretical knowledge in real-world contexts.
