About Serena
I am a Chemistry tutor with 12 years of experience and a Master's in Industrial Chemistry. Teaching Chemistry has given me the opportunity to help students understand scientific ideas through patient guidance and structured learning.
My teaching style focuses on conceptual clarity, practical examples, and continuous encouragement. I believe every learner can succeed when lessons are adapted to their pace and supported by regular practice.
Outside teaching, I enjoy exploring chemical innovations, reading scientific publications, and learning about sustainable industrial processes. These interests help me create engaging lessons that connect Chemistry with everyday life and modern scientific developments.

My Chemistry lessons help students understand how scientific principles explain the behavior of matter through practical learning and logical thinking. We study atomic structure, chemical bonding, periodic trends, acids and bases, organic chemistry, chemical equilibrium, reaction kinetics, electrochemistry, laboratory methods, and solution chemistry using simple English and relatable examples. Every lesson encourages learners to understand why reactions occur instead of memorizing facts without meaning. I create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable exploring scientific ideas and asking questions.
As learners build stronger foundations, we explore stoichiometry, concentration calculations, thermochemistry, analytical chemistry, experimental interpretation, reaction mechanisms, laboratory investigations, examination preparation, and scientific problem-solving through organized activities. I explain every concept clearly while encouraging students to solve calculations independently and develop scientific confidence. Practice exercises, revision sessions, and concept discussions strengthen understanding while improving accuracy.
My goal is to help students enjoy Chemistry while building strong analytical skills and scientific confidence. Every lesson supports academic success through meaningful understanding and practical application.
