About Graham
I have 7 years of experience teaching chemistry and hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry. My teaching focuses on helping students build a solid conceptual foundation while developing practical skills in problem-solving, laboratory techniques, and analytical thinking. I cover organic, inorganic, physical, and analytical chemistry with an emphasis on reaction mechanisms, chemical calculations, laboratory techniques, and real-world applications. Lessons include step-by-step explanations, practical exercises, virtual experiments, and discussion-based problem-solving. I help students develop a strong conceptual foundation and practical understanding while fostering analytical thinking and curiosity in chemistry.
I structure lessons according to each student’s level. Beginners focus on foundational concepts, basic reactions, and simple calculations with guided practice. Intermediate learners explore reaction mechanisms, thermodynamics, spectroscopy, and analytical problem-solving. Advanced learners focus on multi-step synthesis, kinetics, data interpretation, and experimental design. Each session combines explanation, practice, and feedback to ensure steady progress, deeper understanding, and confidence in applying chemical knowledge.
