About Lydia
I am a Chemistry tutor with 12 years of experience and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Chemistry. Teaching Chemistry has given me the opportunity to help students understand how science explains the materials and processes that shape our world.
I believe every learner succeeds through clear explanations, patient guidance, and meaningful practice. My lessons are carefully planned to help students build confidence while developing a strong understanding of scientific principles.
Outside teaching, I enjoy studying environmental science, reading chemical research, and exploring sustainable technologies. These interests help me bring fresh examples into my lessons while making Chemistry practical, engaging, and relevant.

My Chemistry lessons encourage students to understand scientific concepts through observation, reasoning, and practical examples. We study atomic structure, chemical bonding, periodic properties, organic chemistry, acids and bases, electrochemistry, reaction rates, equilibrium, and laboratory techniques using simple English and structured explanations. Every lesson helps students understand how different topics are connected instead of learning them separately. I create an encouraging learning environment where curiosity and thoughtful questions are always welcome.
As students continue learning, we explore stoichiometry, solution chemistry, thermochemistry, analytical methods, chemical calculations, and experimental interpretation through guided activities. I explain every topic carefully before introducing challenging questions that strengthen understanding. Regular practice sessions, concept reviews, and detailed feedback improve calculation accuracy while building scientific confidence.
My goal is to help students enjoy Chemistry while developing strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Every lesson builds confidence that supports academic achievement and future scientific learning.
