About Clara
My interest in chemistry began when I first observed chemical reactions during laboratory experiments in school. I found it fascinating how different substances interact to produce new materials and release energy. This curiosity encouraged me to study chemistry in greater depth and eventually complete a Bachelor’s degree in the subject.
Over the past 6 years, I have taught students from different academic levels and helped them understand chemical concepts more clearly. Many learners initially find chemistry difficult because it involves formulas, equations, and technical terminology. To help students overcome these challenges, I focus on explaining ideas step by step and using visual examples to illustrate complex processes.
Outside the classroom, I enjoy reading about scientific developments and exploring how chemistry contributes to fields such as medicine, environmental science, and industrial technology. Continuing to learn allows me to bring interesting examples into my lessons. Helping students gain confidence and curiosity while learning chemistry is one of the most fulfilling aspects of my teaching experience.

Chemistry is the science that explains how substances interact, transform, and combine to form the materials that make up our world. My lessons focus on helping students understand important chemical concepts such as atomic structure, chemical bonding, reaction types, acids and bases, and energy changes in reactions. Instead of only memorizing formulas and equations, students learn how these concepts explain real chemical processes.
During lessons, students study chemistry through clear explanations, diagrams, and guided problem-solving. Beginners focus on basic topics such as atoms, elements, and simple chemical reactions. Intermediate learners explore bonding structures, chemical equations, and solution chemistry. Advanced students work with topics such as thermodynamics, chemical equilibrium, and analytical problem solving. Practice exercises and visual explanations help students gradually build confidence in understanding chemical concepts.
As students progress, they begin to recognize chemistry in everyday experiences such as cooking, environmental processes, and industrial production. Understanding these connections helps students see the relevance of chemistry in the world around them. My goal is to help students develop strong conceptual understanding and confidence while studying chemistry.
