About Aafiya
My Chemistry lessons are designed for students aiming to excel in advanced test preparation, especially AP Chemistry. I provide targeted drills and realistic practice tests to build confidence and accuracy. Each session focuses on mastering challenging concepts while strengthening problem-solving skills. I offer deep theoretical explanations so students understand the reasoning behind every topic, not just the formulas. Complex areas like equilibrium, thermodynamics, kinetics, and electrochemistry are broken down step by step. I also guide learners through experimental analysis, helping them interpret data and apply it to exam questions. We work on refining test-taking strategies, including time management, multiple-choice approaches, and tackling free-response questions efficiently. Detailed feedback ensures continuous improvement and helps identify weak areas. Lessons are interactive, supportive, and tailored to each student’s pace and needs. With this approach, students develop clarity and confidence to face the AP Chemistry exam. They gain the skills to solve tough problems and understand concepts at a deeper level. Together, we turn challenging chemistry topics into strengths and prepare for top scores.

I’m a Chemistry tutor with over 4 years of teaching experience and a Master’s degree in Inorganic Chemistry. My passion lies in the fascinating field of food preservation and food analysis. I love exploring how chemical processes affect the quality, safety, and longevity of the food we eat.
I study how foods spoil, the role of antioxidants, and how emulsifiers influence texture and stability. I also dive into the chemistry behind preservation techniques like canning, drying, and fermentation. Each method tells a unique chemical story, and I enjoy helping students understand it in simple, practical ways.
In my lessons, I guide learners to connect theory with real-life applications. We examine how chemical reactions influence flavor, shelf-life, and nutrition. I focus on helping students understand food safety and quality from a chemical perspective.
Through interactive explanations and examples, I make complex ideas accessible and engaging. My goal is to spark curiosity while building a solid understanding of chemistry.
