I’m a Chemistry tutor with over 4 years of teaching experience and a Master’s degree in Inorganic Chemistry. My fascination with chemistry goes beyond textbooks — I’m especially passionate about the chemistry of food preservation and analysis. I love exploring how chemistry safeguards what we eat and ensures it remains nutritious and enjoyable.
Over the years, I’ve delved into the chemical changes that lead to food spoilage, as well as the role of antioxidants, emulsifiers, and preservatives in maintaining quality. I enjoy teaching the science behind preservation methods like canning, drying, and fermentation, revealing how each process works at the molecular level. These concepts come alive when connected to real-world examples, from the crispness of pickles to the smooth texture of mayonnaise.
In my lessons, I guide students to see how chemistry directly impacts food safety and quality. We discuss how chemical principles are applied in industry and everyday life, bridging theory with practice. I make complex reactions easier to understand with relatable examples, visual aids, and interactive problem-solving.
