About Ivy
My teaching methodology focuses on making learning practical, clear, and engaging. For Chess, I use real-life examples and case studies to connect strategies and concepts to actual gameplay. This approach helps students understand tactics, openings, middlegames, and endgames in a way that is easy to grasp and apply.
Understanding each student’s unique learning style is central to my approach. I pay attention to how students think and learn, adapting lessons to suit their pace and level. I explain concepts clearly, encourage questions, and create an open environment where students feel confident to explore ideas and strategies.
I ensure a respectful and professional learning environment while helping students develop critical thinking and decision-making skills. My goal is to help students gain knowledge, confidence, and success in every area they learn.
