About Sabrina Wilson
Hi, I’m Sabrina, a qualified English language teacher with over 15 years of experience helping international adults develop their English skills and confidence.
I have been a qualified English language teacher since 2007 and have taught learners from a wide range of backgrounds, levels, and professional situations.
My specialist knowledge comes from combining my English teaching experience with a background in childcare and early childhood education. I have worked with children and families in the USA, Germany, France, Monaco, Australia, the UK, and Spain, including experience as a babysitter, au pair, and nanny, as well as working in preschools, kindergartens, and childcare centers.
I understand that learning English as an adult can sometimes feel challenging or intimidating. My aim is to create a friendly, supportive, and professional learning environment where you feel comfortable speaking, asking questions, and making progress.
Whether you need English for everyday life, childcare, education, work, job interviews, or professional communication, I’ll help you develop practical language skills that you can actually use.

My Approach to Teaching
My lessons are practical, supportive, and focused on helping you use English confidently in real-life situations. I create a relaxed environment where you can practice speaking, ask questions, and make mistakes without feeling embarrassed.
I use a combination of conversation practice, guided speaking activities, vocabulary development, pronunciation practice, grammar support, role plays, and real-life situations. Lessons are adapted to your goals, interests, English level, and professional needs.
For learners who prefer more structure, I also offer courses that use a book as a foundation, including English for Childcare, English for Au Pairs, and English for Kindergarten Teachers. These courses combine structured materials with opportunities to practice speaking and apply English to real childcare and educational situations.
What to Expect
Lessons typically last 60 or 90 minutes and can include a mixture of conversation / vocabulary / grammar / pronunciation / reading / listening / role play, depending on your needs.
You won't simply study English — you'll have opportunities to use it, speak it, and build confidence using it in situations that matter to you.
My Experience & Qualifications
I have been a qualified English language teacher since 2007 and have experience teaching international adults in language schools and online. I have also worked in a British International school in Spain.
My background also includes working in early childhood education and childcare. This gives me a practical understanding of the language international parents, educators, and childcare professionals need in real-world situations.

My lessons are designed for international adults aged 18+, including:

• Au pairs, nannies, and babysitters
• Travel and resort childcare professionals
• Other adults working with or caring for children
Lessons are suitable for learners from level, e.g. A2–B1 / elementary to advanced who want to improve their speaking, vocabulary, pronunciation, grammar, and confidence for everyday life, work, childcare, education, job searches, and interviews.
