• Tell us more about your subject. How did you develop an interest in this field?

  Music has been a part of my life for over 12 years, and it has shaped who I am today. My journey started with a simple curiosity to understand how melodies are created, and that curiosity gradually turned into a lifelong passion. I love exploring songs by ear, understanding the theory behind them, and experimenting with different styles of playing.
  
  For me, music is much more than just learning an instrument, it's a language that helps people express emotions, build confidence, and develop creativity. Every day, I continue learning something new, and that's one of the reasons I enjoy teaching it so much.

• What or who is the motivation behind you choosing to teach & why?

  I've always enjoyed explaining things to people. Whether it's a concept, a skill, or even a small trick that makes learning easier, I genuinely find happiness in sharing what I've learned. Since I'm naturally a curiosity-driven person, I believe knowledge becomes more meaningful when it's passed on to someone who is eager to learn.
  
  Another huge inspiration is my uncle (my father's sister's husband), who is an accomplished pianist and music educator. He has been teaching music in prestigious institutions for many years. Watching him build a fulfilling career through music has inspired me immensely, and I hope to make a similar positive impact through my own teaching.

• How does your work help society?

  Music has the power to improve lives in countless ways. It teaches patience, discipline, creativity, and emotional expression. For children, it strengthens concentration and confidence, while for adults it often becomes a wonderful way to relax and relieve stress.
  
  As a teacher, my goal isn't just to help students play songs, I want them to enjoy the learning process, become confident musicians, and develop a lifelong appreciation for music. If I can make someone excited to sit at their keyboard every day, I consider that a meaningful contribution.

• If you had to think of a role model for your work, who do you think of & why?

  My biggest role model is my uncle. He has dedicated his life to music while maintaining an excellent balance between being a performer, a teacher, and a lifelong learner. His expertise, discipline, humility, and passion for helping students inspire me every day.
  
  He has shown me that success in music isn't just about playing beautifully, it's also about inspiring others to discover their own musical potential. That's the kind of teacher I aspire to become.

• Tell us about your hobbies outside teaching.

  Apart from teaching and practicing music, I enjoy singing, playing the guitar, creating music content for social media, and performing whenever I get the opportunity. I also love photography and portrait sketching, as both allow me to express creativity in different ways.
  
  I'm someone who enjoys learning new skills, whether it's exploring technology, understanding psychology, or simply diving into topics that spark my curiosity.

• Do you have an anecdote to tell us about your student or professional life?

  One of my favourite moments as a teacher was when a beginner student who initially believed they had "no musical talent" played their first complete song confidently after a few lessons. The excitement and pride on their face reminded me why I love teaching.
  
  Moments like these are incredibly rewarding because they show that with the right guidance, patience, and encouragement, anyone can learn music. Seeing my students grow in confidence is always more satisfying than simply teaching them notes.
