About Claudia
I am a Civil Engineering finalist, expecting to graduate with a 2:1 from Loughborough University.
I have experience tutoring GCSE maths students through the Students Union and have regularly worked open days with A Level applicants.
I began high school being placed in bottom set maths class with a lack of confidence in my ability. Through work with teachers and tutors I went on to achieve an A at GCSE Maths and Further Maths and continued on to study Maths at A Level before beginning an undergraduate Civil Engineering programme with a heavy focus on maths. I learnt through building confidence in your ability, maths can be accessible to all!

I approach each topic with attentiveness of each individual's needs. I feel it is important to understand that each individual is unique and most need time to process what is being asked before drawing the lesson onward.
The lesson structure would briefly comprise of the following:
- any material wished to be covered must be sent in advance to myself
- a time would be agreed and a Zoom/Skype call arranged
- initial activities based around understanding current level of knowledge
- discussion around the topic
- a worked example developed together
- onward tasks being set and the knowledge solidified
