About Preeti
I am a public sector banker and have a Bachelors degree in Electronics and Comm. Engg and a postgraduate degree of Masters in Business Administration. I also have a professional qualification of TESOL/TEFL in English language. I have been teaching English voluntarily since three years to the students around me in the neighborhood.

My teaching method basically depends on the age group of students. Say, for example, if I have a group of young learners 3-10 years in my classroom I would focus mainly on using more games and group activities as the kids of this age understand more through practically going about things.
Students who are 11-15 years old would be more comfortable with lessons taught with real life examples and a combination of theory and practical sessions such as a lesson followed with a self written story or poem. And with older children or young adults ,I would mainly focus on activities which involves more participation from them. Like I would divide the whole class in groups of 3-4 children and each group can prepare questions for a quiz which they will hold for the rest of the groups. This activity can be performed twice a week but will reinforce all the concepts taught in the lesson.
