About Celeste

Hello, and welcome!

I’m a St. Xavier’s postgraduate and a working professional, and I truly enjoy helping children understand Math and feel confident about it. My own education and work experience have taught me the value of strong basics, discipline and clear thinking, and I bring the same to every class.

Punctuality and professionalism: I treat every class with the seriousness it deserves. I start and end on time, come prepared with the day’s topic, and stay consistent so parents and students can rely on me.

Patient, concept-first teaching: I never rush through the syllabus. I take as much time as the student needs to fully understand a concept, and only then move on to the next topic. A strong foundation matters more than finishing quickly.

Doubts are always welcome: I love it when students ask questions. No doubt is too small or silly, and I want every child to feel comfortable speaking up in class.

About the lesson

My teaching approach: I believe Maths becomes easy when a child understands the “why” behind each concept, not just the steps. I explain every topic in simple language and step-by-step solving, and I encourage students to ask questions without fear of being wrong.

Structure of a class: Each lesson starts with a quick recap of the previous topic. Then I teach the new concept with worked examples, followed by guided practice where the student solves problems while I support them. We end with doubt clearing and a small homework task to build revision habits.

The classes are for: School students in Classes 5 to 8 who want to strengthen their foundations, need homework help, or want to score better in exams.
